Dayton Plasma Donation - Plasma Centers and Crime - Donation Centers - City of Dayton Zoning
Well, it's pretty clear that the City of Dayton Planning Department is abandoning CitiPlan Dayton.
It's not very forward-thinking, nor comprehensive, but it is a plan... and I'll give points for intent.
Even if CitiPlan is already outdated (ahem, age of the internet), and shallow, it does say this:
Why does the City of Dayton Need a Zoning Code?
The City needs a Zoning Code to:
Implement the goals, objectives, and policies of the City’s Comprehensive
Plan, CitiPlan Dayton: The 20/20 Vision;
Manage the use of land and future development in a legal manner; and,
Protects citizens from incompatible land uses and other negative impacts
of development as well as provides citizens with more predictable results
regarding what might occur on neighboring property.
I love the last part!
I'm going to bring this up at the McPherson Town Historical Society Meeting tomorrow!
I learned today that the planning board meeting is set for Tuesday, November 16th at city hall.
I'll get flyers out right away.
